Mesa This mare has a special place in Ed's heart. Mesa is a big mare, 15.3" hands and she has a great mind. She is extremely calm, intelligent and athletic. Mesa is a "Bar Mesa" daughter and our Alpha Mare. She is not demonstrative in her "alpha" position, she simply needs to give another horse "the look" and maybe a pinned ear and volumes have been spoken. She is extremely obedient to people and is very quiet and easy going ...well, except when she thinks it's time to eat. Check out her foals on "Jake's Album" page. Mesa is a great trail horse and is an incredible Team Penner and Sorter. She has even chased down and rounded up a bull that got loose!! And she's fast!!
