2005 Paint Colt

"Chance"

Born 2/20/2005

Our first foal of 2005 is a very cute Paint colt.  Sire is Jake, our Paint Stallion.  Dam is Mercy, our Gruella Dun Quarter Horse Mare.

At this time we are not sure if we have a Sorrel Paint or a Red Dun Paint.  Mercy's previous colt was a Red Dun and it looks like this colt might have a dorsal stripe. Since Red and Sorrel are so close in color we will have to wait. 

You will notice our colt's right eye is a very pretty blue.

Chance - August 2006

The rain finally stopped so it was time for this colt to see the big world he was now part of.  Here he is at 4 days old.

As you may have noticed in pictures of our foals, we love to see our babies moving..besides being good for them, it's just so darn cute!

We also spend a lot of time with our babies, well...because we can't keep ourselves from them.  It also makes for a much better horse as they grow up.
